The administrative and reception staff at the Practice consist of a dedicated team who strive to do their best for patients in what can sometimes be a stressful and demanding environment.
We receive a huge number of requests regarding many issues during the day and staff will do their best to assist you as soon as they can.
During the course of their duties it may be necessary for staff to ask you questions which you may feel are intrusive. In fact staff are simply trying to assess both the urgency of your request, and also to ensure that you query or appointment is dealt with by the most appropriately skilled doctor or Nurse.
Staff are also very aware of the fact that your medical record is confidential.
Please note that we are not able to give information to relatives or carers regarding your medical treatment without the written permission of the patient themselves. Even with that written permission there are some results that we will only give to the patient themselves.

We have highly qualified Practice Nurses & HCAs at both surgeries who have a wide knowledge of general health problems. In addition to their normal nursing duties such as changing dressings, suture removal, ear syringing, blood tests and immunisations, they also assist in all the clinics that we run and are trained in taking cervical smears, breast examinations and general health checks.
