Primary Care Networks are a new nationwide initiative that will see networks of GP practices working together to widen access and provide improved services to patients.
The Links Medical Practice is part of the MDC PCN.
MDC Primary Care Network Enhanced Access Service
The Enhanced Access Service (EAS) are a group of neighbouring practices that work together as a network in the local community and offer Bromley GP registered patients evening and weekend appointments.
The Links Medical Practice forms part of the local community network of GP practices in the Mottingham, Downham and Chislehurst (MDC) areas, known as Primary Care Network (MDC PCN), which include:
- The Links Medical Practice (Mottingham & Downham practices)
- Chislehurst Partnership (Chislehurst & Woodlands practices)
Monday to Friday MDC PCN Enhanced Access Service currently runs from the Links Medical Practice Mottingham, as well as the Saturday service.
Enhanced Access opening hours:
- Monday–Friday 4pm–8pm
- Saturday– 9pm–5pm
The EAS is a service staffed by various Health Care Professionals therefore is it unlikely that you could expect to see the same clinician as you would from your own practice. You would see clinicians such as GP’s, Nurses, Health Care Assistants or Phlebotomists, who are employed by the Bromley GP Alliance on our behalf to provide medical services to our patients.
A face to face appointment or telephone consultation can be booked via your GP Practice.
